Cajun Pasta Recipe

This easy Cajun pasta recipe is a wonderful one pan dinner! Made with a creamy Cajun sauce and andouille chicken sausage, this pasta is a little spicy, creamy, and full of flavor.

Ingredients Needed:

– Olive Oil – Chicken Andouille Sausage (or regular andouille sausage) – Red Bell Pepper – Yellow Onion – Garlic – Cajun Seasoning – Diced Tomatoes (regular or fire roasted) – Chicken Broth – Heavy Cream – Salt – Pepper – Penne Pasta (regular or whole wheat) – Shredded Parmesan Cheese – Fresh Parsley

STEP 1 - sauté olive oil, diced onion, diced bell pepper, and sliced sausage STEP 2 - add in the minced garlic and cajun seasoning

STEP 3 - deglaze pan with diced tomatoes, then add the broth, heavy cream, salt, and pepper.  STEP 4 - bring to a boil and add in the pasta

STEP 5 - stir frequently, pushing down noodles that are sticking above the liquid STEP 6 - Remove from the heat and add the shredded parmesan and chopped parsley
