Easy Iced Matcha Latte

This iced matcha latte recipe is creamy, refreshing, and very enjoyable to sip on. A great way to start the day or enjoy a midday pick-me-up!

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder
  • 1-2 tablespoon water
  • ice
  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • optional: ½ teaspoon vanilla extract or other flavoring
  • optional: 1-2 teaspoon simple syrup or agave syrup

Instructions

  • Place your matcha powder and a small amount of water in your glass. Whisk until the matcha has dissolved.*
  • Fill the glass with ice.
  • Top with milk of choice. Option to add sweetener and/or flavoring here too.
  • Give it a stir, sip, and enjoy!

Notes

*Note on whisking (step 1): I've found that using a handheld frother or bamboo whisk work best.
*The best milk options for an iced matcha latte include dairy milk (2% or whole), oat milk, almond milk, or coconut milk.
