Ingredients

  • 10-15 mint leaves
  • ½ of a medium lime cut into 4-6 wedges
  • 1 teaspoon agave syrup
  • Ice cubes
  • 6-8 ounces lime sparkling water

Instructions

  • Wash and prep your produce.
  • In a tall glass (like a highball or Collins glass) place your mint, lime wedges, and agave syrup. Muddle to release the juices of the mint and lime.
  • Fill the glass with ice.
  • Top with lime sparkling water and stir to combine.
  • Optionally garnish with additional mint or lime slices and enjoy!

Notes

Recipe Variations and Substitutions
  • Choose a different sweetener. Simple syrup or honey simple syrup are both great substitutes for the agave syrup. If desired, you could also try pure maple syrup.
  • Use a different sparkling water. If preferred, you could replace the lime seltzer water with club soda or a regular seltzer water.
  • Try ginger ale instead of lime sparkling water. Add a little pop of ginger (and some additional sweetness) to your drink by using ginger ale.
  • Add "mix-ins". Try a different flavor mojito mocktail by muddling in a few "mix-ins" like fresh strawberries for a strawberry mojito mocktail or cucumber slices for a cucumber mojito mocktail.
  • Add zero proof rum or rum extract to your drink. If desired, add in a shot of non-alcoholic rum or few drops of rum extract.
