Gold Rush Cocktail

A modern twist on a whiskey sour, the Gold Rush is a light and refreshing bourbon cocktail made with honey simple syrup and lemon. Simple and delicious!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 - 1 oz honey simple syrup

Instructions
 

  • Place lemon juice, honey simple syrup, and bourbon in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously to combine and cool
  • Strain the drink into a low ball or old fashioned glass
  • Option to garnish with a lemon wedge or lemon twist

*Note: If you are looking for an easy conversion for ounces, 1 ounce is equal to 2 Tablespoons, so each cocktail needs 4 Tbsp of bourbon and 2 Tbsp of lemon juice plus your simple syrup.
