Notes
*If desired, add more chicken for additional protein! The best part of making these at home is that you can customize the proportions to your liking.*You have a lot of chicken options, but the key to making this quick is to have cooked chicken on hand. We're showing this made with grilled chicken, but we also like to bulk prepare and use our crockpot shredded chicken breast. Rotisserie chicken is another great option, but you can also use any other leftover chicken you have from another day (that doesn't have big opposing flavors on it). If you have chicken tenders or chicken nuggets in your freezer, I'm not going to stop you from cooking up or air-frying some to make yourself a crispy chicken Caesar wrap! For the best texture and to avoid a soggy tortilla, enjoy fresh! However, you can assemble up to 2-hours ahead of time by wrapping the wrap tightly in aluminum foil or plastic wrap and storing in the fridge. Variations And Add-Ons
Add bacon. Crispy bacon pieces taste great in this wrap too!
Toss in halved cherry tomatoes. Add freshness and juicy bursts of flavor.
Add avocado. Sliced avocado adds creaminess and healthy fats.
Mix in different greens. If desired, do a combination of lettuce and spinach or chopped dinosaur kale (also called lacinato kale).
Try different tortillas. Whole wheat, whole grain, low carb, flavored wraps (like spinach or tomato basil), etc.
Give it a little kick of spice with a shake of red pepper flakes.
Add croutons. Generally the tortillas serve as a replacement for the croutons, but if you'd like a little extra crunch, toss some of your favorite croutons in too.
Nutrition calculation: please note, this could vary widely based on the type of chicken (breast vs. thigh), brand of dressing, and type of tortilla (flour, whole wheat, low carb) used. The numbers here are calculated with a flour tortilla, cooked chicken breast, and a shelf-stable / standard Caesar dressing as a starting point.
