Cranberry mimosas are great for a boozy brunch with your girlfriends, bridal showers, baby showers (for the guests), and so many more occasions. Why You’ll Love This Cranberry Mimosa Recipe

Level of difficulty: Easy.

Flavor: Cranberries and champagne.

Time: It will take you less than 5 minutes to prepare this cranberry mimosa recipe.

Cranberry Mimosa Ingredients

Ingredients to make a mimosa: cranberry juice and champagne. They're sitting on a wooden board with a gold linen behind them.
  • Cranberry juice cocktail
  • Champagne (or sparkling wine)
  • Optional: fresh cranberries or rosemary sprigs for garnish, sugared cranberries are also a fun option for a little extra sparkle

See recipe card below for a full list of ingredients and measurements.

What is the Best Mimosa Ratio?

The perfect mimosa ratio is based on personal preference. If you’re new to mimosas, start with a 50/50 ratio and adjust from there. I prefer ⅓ juice to ⅔ champagne. My best friend does 99% champagne and 1% juice (you know, to give her drink a little color).

How to Make a Cranberry Mimosa

Fill champagne flute ⅓ full with cranberry juice.

Top with champagne (or sparkling wine).

Garnish with fresh cranberries and/or a rosemary sprig if desired.

Sip and enjoy!

How to Make a Large Batch Christmas Mimosa

To make cranberry mimosas for a crowd, use a large pitcher or punch bowl and multiply the recipe by the number of servings needed. For 8 servings, mix 2 cups of cranberry juice cocktail with 4 cups of champagne or sparkling wine. This maintains a 1:2 ratio that’s approachable for everyone. For the best batch cocktail, keep the cranberry juice chilled and add the champagne just before serving to maintain the bubbles.

You can also set up a mimosa bar where guests can mix their own! Simply provide pitchers of chilled cranberry juice and bottles of chilled champagne or sparkling wine, along with garnishes like fresh cranberries and rosemary sprigs. This way everyone can customize their preferred juice-to-champagne ratio, and you don’t have to worry about the drinks losing their fizz while sitting out.

Tips For Making The Perfect Christmas Mimosa

Start with chilled ingredients. Since no ice is used in the making of a mimosa, you want to make sure the ingredients you plan to use are cold prior to mixing up your drink.

Cranberry Mimosa Recipe Tips

Start with chilled ingredients. Since no ice is used in the making of a mimosa, you want to make sure the ingredients you plan to use are cold.

Don’t stir your mimosa. The act of pouring your juice and champagne together will mix your drink perfectly. Stirring will make your champagne lose its fizziness faster.

Looking to cut out a little sugar? Use 100% cranberry juice! Swap out the cranberry juice cocktail for 100% cranberry juice, keeping the same ratio of juice to champagne.

Mini bottles of champagne are perfect if you’re making mimosas for one. I’m a huge fan of mini bottles of champagne because they give you more flexibility! Does only one person at your brunch want a mimosa? No problem! No need to open an entire bottle of champagne.

Want to make a virgin mimosa? You can! For those who are abstaining from alcohol, replacing the champagne with sparkling grape juice or a flavored sparkling water (try orange) is a great option. This is a great way to include the kiddos or someone who is pregnant in the festivities!
